In the video, Pan is seen holding the girl and slapping her face while yelling expletives at the teenager, who was dressed in school uniform. She reportedly reported the incident to the police and was arrested that day.

This is when Pan allegedly jostled the girl and slapped her while accusing her of stealing. Pan was arrested and charged on that same day. However, when she appeared at the Trelawny Parish Court on Wednesday, no evidence was offered and she was freed.

In the video which has gone viral, the girl can be heard telling Pan that she does not steal. She also claims that she is a straight A student and that the incident was a misunderstanding that went really bad. Dancehall artiste Mr Vegas was subsequently invited to visit the teenager and Pan and the two had a heart-to-heart discussion. Pan later apologised to the girl and said that she is so sorry.

Meanwhile, three Chinese nationals who were accused of beating and kicking children in Black River, St. Elizabeth have had their bails extended until January 8. The woman was beaten so badly that she had to be hospitalised. They were arrested after residents intervened and rescued the victims from the suspects who were then attacked by a mob.
